  • For a nice change, shopping for insurance has been a wonderful experience! Not only did Berkshire Insurance Services save us money on Auto and Homeowner's Insurance, our agent, Cheryl Whitcombe, was a real pleasure to deal with. Her prompt responses, knowledge of products, and professional attitude made the process quick and easy and with the assurance that she really does care and is working for us! And when we reached out to Cheryl to inquire on how to submit a claim, we received the same prompt and courteous help, and Berkshire Insurance Services was there to make sure everything was taken care of to our satisfaction.     I have been a member of Key Bank since they took over First Niagra. I have visited several different branches but Douglassville is by far the absolute worst. Customer service is generally incredibley poor even when you spend hundreds of dollars on astronmical fees every month. This location inparticular is cult like. You walk in to a table full of strange close up face pictures of the employees, most of whom arent even smiling. Then they talk to each other via an in-house computer messaging program instead of just walking up to the guest and speaking to them directly. They have no problem charging $50 for an .80 cent overdraft, but cant find the reasoning/discretion to clear a payroll check from the Catholic Archdiocese of Allentown to a sole proprietor business with my personal name on the account right before the holidays. After they charge that fee they then try to tell you that you need to add a credit card with them for "protection". Not only did Tiffany and Rothedo decline to deposit the check as payroll, which has cleared their institution monthly without issue, but they actually increased the hold time. Additionally, they then provided a document realted to my account advising of the hold, to someone who is not on the account, AND had them sign it acknowledging the hold AND provided them with a copy of it! I have literally had an employee walk away from me in mid conversation in the past (Gentleman with goatee in his 40's and dark hair). Tonights transaction was with Tiffany and Rothedo at branch 00435. Final straw for me. Will be closing my acct and finding some better customer service. AVOID THIS PLACE, AND ALL KEY BANKS, LIKE THE PLAGUE FROM THE MANAGER I SPOKE WITH, TIFFANY, ON DOWN. CITIZENS IS MUCH HIGHER RATED AND OFFERS "FREE" BUSINESS CHECKING, I WILL BE HEADING THERE! I WILL ALSO BE POSTING THIS TO THEIR CORPORATE SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS, GOOGLE, AND ANYWHERE ELSE I CAN FIND IT ALSO. I encourage others with similar stories to blast this place online. I will be contacting corporate also. Thank god I did not move personal checking over to Key. To the 5 star review below. If you think that rate is good try a federal credit union. I bank with Police and FireFCU and they are night and day from places like this. Just no business accts. (It should be noted, the two younger gentleman that work the counter there have always been helpful and courteious)

  • This office is great! They take the time to go over your account in detail and set goals for you. We felt no judgement when we were unable to hit the goals at a quicker pace. David made us feel completely comfortable with our decisions. I like that he checks in via e-mail and again there is no pressure from this team!
